Who We're looking for
We are seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional who enjoys being a compassionate leader. The Lead Direct Support Professional will provide individualized and quality services to members with disabilities in group home. They will also follows and teach using service plans, teaching/performing daily living skills, leisure skill and planning community involvement activities. Present necessary information at staff meetings and acts as a liaison for family concerns, as needed.
Key Responsibilities

Assist members with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility, etc.)

Transport members and assist with appointments

Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment

Mentor, train, and support DSP staff

Act as a liaison for families and team communication

Help resolve challenges and support program operations

Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation (service plans, logs, reports, etc.)
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
At least 1 year of experience in direct care, behavioral health, or disabilities field

Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
-
Ability to problem-solve and remain calm in crisis situations

Experience with documentation and care coordination preferred

Valid AZ driver’s license & acceptable driving record (if required)

Ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift/assist (50+ lbs., team lift)
Frequent standing, bending, and movement
Ability to assist with transfers and mobility support
