Dental Front Office Assistant
Full-Time | $15–25/hour
We are a small, private pediatric dental office in San Antonio seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Front Office Assistant to join our team. Our practice serves children with a wide range of unique medical and health conditions in a calm, welcoming, family-centered environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
- Collect payments and explain financial policies when needed
- Respond to emails, text messages, and patient inquiries
- Help coordinate patient flow with the clinical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office
- Assist with general administrative tasks and support the team as needed
Requirements
- Dental office experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Monday–Friday availability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred (Not Required)
- Pediatric dental experience
- Experience working with children
- Experience working with children with unique medical and health conditions
- Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
- Experience with Open Dental software
- Experience verifying dental insurance and coordinating treatment
