Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Bistro Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness of the bistro area, and ensuring guests have a positive and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, handling cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bistro, including dining areas, counters, and food prep stations
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
- Address guest questions or concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous food service, café, or hospitality experience preferred (not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
