Job Overview
The Tile Press is an Austin-based tile installation company specializing in custom residential and select commercial projects. We work with architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners to install premium tile in some of Austin's finest homes.
We're looking for a bilingual Construction Project Manager who enjoys solving problems, communicating with people, and ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
This is a field-based position. You'll spend most of your workweek traveling to active job sites throughout the Austin area rather than working from a desk.
Responsibilities
- Visit multiple job sites throughout Austin each day.
- Serve as the primary link between The Tile Press office team and installation crews.
- Coordinate material deliveries from our warehouse to project sites.
- Receive and inspect delivered materials to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
- Review installation plans and communicate project requirements to installers.
- Answer field questions and resolve issues before they become costly mistakes.
- Monitor installation quality throughout the project.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and builders.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with customers.
- Create punch lists and schedule completion items when necessary.
- Update project progress in Asana.
- Process project billing changes using QuickBooks.
- Communicate with customers and the internal team through email and phone.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel throughout the Austin area.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning and using technology, including email, Asana, and QuickBooks.
- Construction or project management experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 annual salary.

Experience
- Knowledge of construction site experience, including residential or commercial interior projects.
- Strong skills in project management, including scheduling (Project scheduling), budgeting (estimating), contract management (Contracts), and team coordination (Project coordination).
- Demonstrated ability in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
