Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including bread.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their selections.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers in a café or grocery store setting.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
