OR Circulator Registered Nurse

Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 per year
This regional healthcare system is hiring a full time Operating Room Circulator RN for its surgical services division. This role plans and delivers intraoperative patient care, manages the sterile field and room workflow, and works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the Nurse Manager on surgical outcomes.
Schedule: Full time, on site, with participation in the departmental on call rotation.
Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 per year, based on documented years of perioperative experience.
What You'll Do:
This RN will plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care for patients throughout the intraoperative phase of surgery, ensuring all patient care, safety interventions, and documentation adhere to AORN standards and institutional guidelines. As circulator, this nurse manages sterile field setup, patient positioning, and room workflow, and provides clinical direction to Surgical Technicians, Instrument Technicians, and Materials Management staff within the room. This role works in close coordination with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the Nurse Manager, participates in the on call rotation to support urgent, emergent, and after hours surgical cases, and may function as a Scrub Nurse when clinically or operationally indicated.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing)
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana, or immediate eligibility for compact/endorsement licensure
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong foundational knowledge of asepsis principles and electronic charting proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CNOR national certification
- Previous Operating Room circulating experience
- Ability or training to function as a Scrub Nurse
