A busy, high-volume plastic surgery practice is seeking an experienced Certified First Assist to support the surgeon during operative procedures. This role requires advanced intraoperative assisting skills, strict sterile technique, and prior experience specifically in plastic surgery cases.
Provide first-assist support during plastic surgery procedures, including:
Maintain strict sterile technique and OR protocols
Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
Collaborate with the surgeon, anesthesia team, nursing staff, and OR personnel
Support post-operative dressing application and patient transfer
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment
Excellent communication and professionalism
Work schedule will vary based on surgical volume, with coverage needed as required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
$50 per hour
