Human Resources Generalist
Full-time | Randolph, MA
May Center is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage a range of HR operations for 400+ employees supporting Children Services Residential Programs and Educational Centers in and around surrounding Randolph, Massachusetts. This role will require the ability to travel to other Massachusetts locations as needed.
Your Impact
The Human Resources Generalist role facilitates human resources activities to guide employees through the employment lifecycle; including:
- Onboarding coordination
- Transactional- position & comp changes, file management, review of offers & hire transactions
- Leave of absence & workplace injury coordination
- Employee relations- investigating incidents/concerns/complaints, conflict management and mediation
- Coaching & counseling Managers on employee incidents, performance management & progressive discipline
- Employee engagement- Administer New Hire Check-in Program, site visits, employee forums
- Offboarding activities
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
- Good working knowledge of labor and employment laws and practices.
- Workplace investigation experience required.
- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
