Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Take orders from customers, providing recommendations and ensuring prompt service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred, particularly in nightclub or restaurant settings.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
- Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
