Job Summary:
Ze’s Diner in Bloomington is looking for an experienced and dependable Cook to join our team. This role requires strong breakfast cooking skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, family-owned diner environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast items including eggs, pancakes, omelets, bacon, sausage, and hash browns
- Follow recipes, portion control, and food quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Ensure food is prepared promptly and accurately during service
- Assist with prep work, stocking, and closing duties
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience required
- Must have breakfast cooking experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Open availability and flexibility with scheduling
