Assistant Manager – Remote Coffee
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $14-$16 per hour to start, with raises considered after training.
Overview
Remote Coffee is looking for a reliable, motivated Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and support our team. This role is responsible for keeping the store running smoothly, ensuring great customer experiences, and supporting the barista team through leadership, training, and organization.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing both people and operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
COFFEE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!!!
Team Leadership
- Lead and support the barista team during daily operations
- Set the tone for excellent customer service and team culture
- Train and onboard new team members
- Provide ongoing coaching to ensure drink quality, speed, and consistency
Scheduling & Staff Coordination
- Create and manage the weekly staff schedule
- Ensure proper coverage during peak hours
- Coordinate shift changes and time-off requests
Operations
- Open and close the store according to company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Ensure all daily checklists and operational standards are followed
Inventory & Ordering
- Conduct weekly inventory counts
- Monitor product levels and place supply orders as needed
- Work to minimize waste and maintain proper stock levels
Customer Experience
- Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly service
- Address customer questions or issues when they arise
- Help maintain Remote Coffee’s welcoming and energetic atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Must be available for opening and closing shifts, including weekends
