Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated associate optometrist to join our team. This is a long-term PT position. No Saturdays. Great location, parking and team!
What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency in eyewear recommendations and prescriptions
- Interest in myopia control, advanced dry eye treatments, specialty CL fittings
- Ability to connect with people and establish trust quickly
- Commitment to the continued growth of our expanding practice
- Ability to clearly communicate with staff and patients to ensure optimal patient experience
- Team player mindset and curiosity to learn!
- A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
- A Valid CA state license to practice optometry
- Are currently residing within commuting distance of the practice
What You’ll Do:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, CL fittings, dry eye consults, medical exams, pre and post op care for LASIK or Cataract patients
- Prescribe to lifestyle visual needs and discuss options
- Ensure seamless handoffs in support of eyewear prescriptions
- Maintain detailed & accurate patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress.
- Refer to proper secondary care, write referral letters and follow-up care
- Provide support to the practice during downtime as the opportunity arises
- Understand and abide by HIPAA and latest FTC mandates
Pay: $500.00 - $800.00 per day
