Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs designed to enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and assist in diagnostic evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans
- Collect and analyze data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Support clients with skill acquisition programs in ABA, including teaching new behaviors and reducing problematic behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers to provide updates, education, and guidance on behavior intervention strategies
- Assist in intake procedures and behavioral health assessments to determine client needs and appropriate treatment approaches
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, skill acquisition programs in ABA, and behavior intervention techniques
- Proficiency in data collection methods and behavioral data analysis for progress tracking
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and maintaining confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including patient assessment and supporting behavioral health needs
- Excellent client communication skills to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
