Your Career Shouldn't Require Your Weekends
Occupational Therapy can be incredibly rewarding.
But working weekends, rotating holidays, staying late, or constantly adjusting your life around a healthcare schedule can eventually wear on you.
What if you didn't have to choose between a strong OT career and having your weekends back?
Legacy Home Care and Home Health Care, Inc. are hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based therapy throughout Southern and Southwest Minnesota, with highly competitive earning potential and a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends.
Do Great Work. Then Go Live Your Life.
Your workweek is focused on helping patients regain function and independence in their own homes.
Your weekends?
They're yours.
No weekend rotation. No Saturday treatment schedule. No Sunday documentation block built into the position.
It's an opportunity to continue building your OT career without allowing your career to consume your entire week.

Spend Your Workday Doing Occupational Therapy
You'll work directly with patients who are recovering from hospitalizations, surgeries, illnesses, injuries, and functional decline.
Instead of seeing patients back-to-back in a clinic or facility, you'll travel within an assigned territory and provide individualized therapy focused on the activities that matter in everyday life.
What You'll Do
- Complete in-home OT evaluations and reassessments
- Develop individualized plans of care and functional goals
- Address bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, mobility, and other ADLs
- Evaluate strength, coordination, cognition, fine motor skills, safety, and functional performance
- Complete home safety and fall-risk assessments
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation
Your OT Experience Can Translate
We'd like to meet Occupational Therapists from Home Health, Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Transitional Care, Outpatient Therapy, Orthopedics, Neurological Rehabilitation, Senior Living, and Geriatrics.
Home health experience is valuable, but it's not the only path into this position. Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, patient education, organization, and the ability to work independently can translate extremely well.
What We're Looking For
- Current Minnesota Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong evaluation and treatment-planning skills
- Ability to independently manage a territory-based caseload
- Excellent patient and caregiver communication
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- EMR experience preferred
- Commitment to patient-centered, functional therapy
Keep Building Your Career Without Giving Up Your Weekends
A better schedule doesn't have to mean taking a step backward professionally.
Here, you can continue challenging yourself clinically, earn at a highly competitive level, work independently with patients throughout your territory, and still know that Saturday and Sunday aren't part of your regular workweek.
If you're an OTR/L looking for strong earning potential, one-on-one patient care, and a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, we'd like to meet you.
