Moeller Trucking, Inc. is a national trucking and logistics company that operates 400 trucks and 600 trailers throughout the United States. We continue to grow and are seeking a full-time, 1st shift Logistics Coordinator to work within our Logistics division in our Maria Stein, OH location.
Position Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for covering freight by sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with outside trucking companies, as well as assist in managing customer accounts. This role ensures that customer shipments are moved efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, while maintaining strong communication with carriers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and secure truck capacity to cover daily freight needs, negotiating rates as needed
- Communicate proactively with internal sales and operations teams
- Ensure carrier compliance with safety and service standards
- Assist in the day-to-day management of customer accounts
- Stay informed on supply chain and market trends to strengthen negotiation strategies and sourcing decisions
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, or freight brokerage a plus but not required
- Familiarity with TMS platforms, load boards, and basic data tracking tools is a plus but not required
