Van Diesel Truck Repair is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in servicing Class 8 tractors, semi-trucks, medium-duty trucks, box trucks, trailers, and commercial fleet equipment.
This position is ideal for technicians who take pride in diagnostics, quality workmanship, and keeping customers operating safely and efficiently. Compensation
- $22–$40 per hour based on experience
- Weekly pay

Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime available
- Emergency roadside service opportunities
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, steering, HVAC, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems
- Perform PM services, DOT inspections, diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic software, OEM schematics, and testing equipment
- Repair and replace brakes, wheel seals, tires, suspension components, turbochargers, cooling systems, driveline components, and related systems
- Perform welding and fabrication work when required
- Complete safety inspections and DOT-related repairs
- Operate shop equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with management and customers
- Assist with roadside service calls when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy-duty equipment, or commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, air brakes, and preventative maintenance procedures
- Experience using diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift heavy components and work in a shop environment
