American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a MS/Tele position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent experience and at least one completed prior travel assignment.

Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center

Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
Team nursing model with a patient ratio of 1:7, supported by PCCs and other RN staff

Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)

On-call required as needed

Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered

Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating is rare

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Active RN license — TN state license or Compact (NLC) license required; no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required; 3+ years preferred

Level I Trauma Center experience required

Large hospital experience required

At least one completed travel nursing assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible unless they have 3+ years of recent experience

ADN is the minimum required education for this position

Driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO requests will not be accepted after an offer has been made

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler

All certifications expiring during the assignment should have a renewal plan in place prior to consideration
