Responsibilities
Team teach and collaborate with your co-teacher:
- Provide care and supervision for young children, ensure their safety and well-being. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Help with curriculum development by contributing ideas for lessons that align with Montessori principles. Manage classroom behavior using appropropriate strategies.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- BA in Early Childhood Education.
- Prior experience working in daycare or preschool settings is a must.
- Pass a background check.
