Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and charismatic Lead Host/Maitre D to elevate our guest experience from the moment they walk through our doors. As a key team leader, you will oversee the host team, ensuring seamless guest arrivals, efficient seating, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Lead and train host team members on customer service standards, phone etiquette, and hospitality best practices
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to communicate guest needs and facilitate smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean, organized host station and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food service and customer relations with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly phone etiquette
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation management and guest services
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across guest-facing roles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively setting
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
