Caregiver for Seniors
Job Summary. Hispanic preferred for one senior with dementia. Week end job only.Working hours 8 hours during the day and overnight on Saturday and Sunday
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality support to seniors in need of assistance. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personal care and ensuring the well-being of elderly clients. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and committed to enhancing thattentive and personalized care.
Duties
- Assist seniors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
- Provide patient personal care assistance, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
- Support medication management and remind clients of their medication schedules as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns or changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving or working with seniors is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and respectful attitude.
- Ability to perform patient personal care assistance with patience and sensitivity.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with seniors, family members, and healthcare providers.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and other personal care tasks.
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care.
- Must comply with all safety standards and protocols related to senior care.individual
