This is a great opportunity to Join the Joe Cool's Heating and Cooling family. Joe Cool's has been successfully servicing customers for over 20 years in Rockland County, NY & North Bergen County, NJ and we plan to continue to grow and expand for the next 20 years!
As a Joe Cool's HVAC Technician you will be expected to service & repair HVAC systems on your own. This position offers a competitive hourly compensation of $25.00 - $50.00, depending on skill set & experience. Our HVAC Technicians work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with plenty of overtime available. We provide our technicians with a company vehicle, company tools, and the replacement parts necessary to diagnose and repair our customers' HVAC systems. At Joe Cool's you will also have access to learn from seasoned HVAC technicians that will help you advance your skill set and knowledge to ensure you achieve your career goals. During HVAC system installs & replacements, we will expect to see your teamwork and collaborations skills.
HVAC Systems That Our Techs Work On:
•
Air Conditioning : 1-5 Ton Split Systems as well as Ductless Systems.
•
Heating : Hot Water Boilers, Radiant , Hot Air Furnaces, Hydro-Air Systems.
•
Commercial Rooftop Units : 3-25 Ton
Qualifications
•
Experience
•
3-5+ years as a HVAC Technician
•
Must be mechanically inclined
•
Education
•
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
•
License
•
Refrigerant Certification
•
EPA universal certification (Preferred)
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
•
Requirements
•
Able to pass background check & drug test
•
Soft Skills
•
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•
Excellent work ethic.
Responsibilities:
•
Effectively diagnose and repair malfunctioning a/c systems, gas and oil furnaces, gas and oil boilers, zoning systems as well as other HVAC equipment.
•
Perform annual maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems.
•
Provides our customers with a superior customer service experience.
•
Represents Joe Cool's in a manner that conveys professionalism, personal integrity, and respect for others.
•
Willing to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights and/or small crawl spaces
Skills and Abilities
•
Knowledge of safety rules and requirements.
•
Strong attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•
Must have knowledge of HVAC systems.
