About the Role:
As our new Full-time Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise and support to our financial teams. Your duties will include:
Prepare monthly financial statements for Atrium Centers and related entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company timeframes.
Reconcile accounts and maintain supporting documentation to ensure financial statement integrity.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with particular focus on cash and accounts receivable.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for the general ledger.
Maintain company fixed asset records, including depreciation and amortization schedules.
Complete periodic HUD Replacement Reserve requests and maintain all required supporting records.
Assist with annual CPA, Medicare, Medicaid, and HUD audits and reviews as needed.
Support yearly budget preparation and periodic budget revisions.
Assist with preparation of annual Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; preferred. CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
A minimum of three years of overall accounting experience with an emphasis on financial statement preparation experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and an ability to apply those principles
Experience leading or significantly contributing to projects a plus.
Experience managing deadlines and being able to take complete ownership of assigned tasks.
Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Sage Intacct a plus.
