About Us
True Star Outdoor Solutions is a design-build outdoor living company based in Frisco, TX. We build high-end outdoor spaces across the DFW Metroplex: paver patios, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and full backyard transformations, typically ranging from $30K to $150K+. We started in 2020 because we were tired of watching corners get cut. That standard has not changed.
We are growing, and we are building the team that will take us to the next level. This role is part of that build.
The Role
You own the job from sales handoff to final walkthrough. No babysitting required. We need someone who takes accountability seriously, communicates clearly with homeowners, and keeps crews and subs moving without being chased.
This is a field-first role. You will be on jobsites daily, solving real problems, not sitting behind a desk.
What You Will Do
Take full ownership of assigned projects from sales handoff through client closeout and final sign-off.
Build and manage project schedules, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to keep jobs moving.
Conduct regular jobsite visits to enforce quality standards and catch problems before they become expensive.
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout construction. Proactive communication, no surprises.
Track project budgets in real time and process change orders accurately when scope shifts.
Coordinate material procurement and staging so crews have what they need before they need it.
Hold subcontractors accountable to schedule, quality, and jobsite standards.
Document progress through photos, daily logs, and updates in JobTread (our project management platform).
Lead pre-construction kickoff meetings and final client walkthroughs.
Maintain safe, clean, professional jobsites at all times.
Own the punch list. Every detail is resolved before a project is closed.
What We Are Looking For
2 or more years of project management experience in landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor living, or residential construction.
Demonstrated ability to run multiple active projects at once without dropping details.
Solid knowledge of hardscape materials, installation methods, and outdoor construction sequencing.
Strong communicator, equally effective with homeowners, field crews, and vendors.
Highly organized with sharp time management and a bias toward proactive follow-through.
Ability to read and interpret landscape and hardscape plans.
Comfortable working in JobTread or similar project management software. JobTread experience is a genuine advantage.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. You will coordinate directly with Spanish-speaking crews every day.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.

Compensation and Benefits
$60,000 to $75,000 base salary, based on experience.
Performance bonuses tied directly to project outcomes: budget, timeline, and client satisfaction.
