Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Designer with strong AutoCAD and Revit experience to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative architectural projects, utilizing advanced CAD and 3D modeling tools to develop comprehensive design solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and institutional buildings, with a focus on sustainable and functional design.
Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and models using Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and other CAD software.
- Create 3D visualizations and renderings with SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, and Rhinoceros 3D to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Prepare schematics, construction documents, and presentation materials adhering to project standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate interior design, mechanical systems, and system design elements into comprehensive plans.
- Utilize Bluebeam for PDF markup and document management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the development of graphic designs for presentations and client proposals.
- Support construction documentation processes, including drafting specifications and coordinating with engineers and contractors.
- Engage in interior design concepts and 2D animation for project visualization when needed.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Revit is essential; proficiency in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in SketchUp, Bluebeam, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, System Design, Drafting, Schematics, Construction documentation, Graphic Design, Mechanical Design, Interior Design, and 2D Animation are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate technical drawings and detailed models for construction purposes.
- Knowledge of building systems and construction processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience working on diverse architectural projects is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
