We are now seeking 2 mid-level carpenters with approximately 4 to 10 years of experience to fill out a 3-4-man crew. Pay will be commensurate with experience to start, then adjusted according to performance after 6 months. At Greenline we do many of the phases of new home construction and renovation, so you will be doing something different every day. If you only want to frame or only do finish work, decks, etc. this may not be the job for you. We are seeking conscientious employees who get themselves to work, do the job to the best of their ability, are willing to learn new skills and new methods, and take pride in their accomplishments - if you just want to punch a clock, don't apply. Successful candidates will be expected to have their own basic tools - skill saw, cordless drill and driver, hand tools, etc. MUST have transportation AND driver's license. MUST be legal to work in the U.S. NO subcontractors or 1099 employees. We work year-round; it's hot in summer and cold in winter; if you are not able to handle being in the elements year-round, do not apply.
Greenline has been in business for 18 years. We are a family business based in Marshall, Wisconsin, and the majority of our work is within 45 minutes of Marshall. Recent, current, and upcoming projects are in Marshall, Sun Prairie, Poynette, Friesland, Randolph, Waterloo, Watertown, and Eagle. We may be expanding to Lake Mills, Stoughton, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson area. Ideally, new hires would live in, or move to the vicinity for an easy commute. Generally, I would say north and east of Marshall is better than south or west with regard to the ideal location for getting to jobs. In any case, mobility - that is, a reliable vehicle - is a must! We currently have a steady stream of new, small spec homes, and continue to take on remodeling, renovation, additions, and other structures as well. We do our own framing, window and door installations, roofing, siding, finish work, and whatever else it takes to get the job done. On the remodeling side, we have historically done a lot of window and door installs, including garage doors, deck building and re-building, basement finishes, three-season rooms, and exterior renovations. We occasionally get calls for pole buildings. We specialize in not specializing - we do it all!
Greenline Construction was founded on the idea that we can build with less negative impact on the environment. We make every effort to utilize resources as efficiently as possible, and we recycle, repurpose, or donate the vast majority of our "waste." Employees of Greenline Construction are expected to utilize methods that minimize waste, treat unavoidable waste appropriately, and keep in mind the lifecycles of the products we use and the structures we build.
