Position: RN Unit Manager
Facility: Ambassador Healthcare at College Park
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 annually

Support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing daily nursing operations in accordance with state and federal regulations
Supervise and guide nursing staff, ensuring adherence to job responsibilities and quality care standards
Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
Lead assigned unit operations, providing mentorship and clinical direction to staff
Collaborate with leadership to maintain appropriate staffing levels and reduce overtime and agency usage
Implement progressive discipline and performance management as needed
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Educate, demonstrate, and evaluate nursing competencies for direct resident care
Oversee MDS processes and assist with interdisciplinary discharge planning
Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff
Active RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Prior leadership or management experience preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
