- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and building systems
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools and basic electrical testing tools (multimeter, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, standing)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights or weekends as needed
- Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills and basic recordkeeping ability
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings and comply with state cannabis agent/employee registration requirements
niceToHaveSkills
- Prior experience in the cannabis cultivation or processing environment
- HVAC certification or demonstrated HVAC troubleshooting experience
- Electrical or plumbing certifications or journeyman/apprentice experience
- Forklift and/or industrial equipment operator certification
- Experience with building management systems (BMS), environmental controllers, or automation systems
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Welding, carpentry, or fabrication skills
- OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training
- EPA refrigeration or other industry-specific certifications
- Bilingual skills or strong cross-team collaboration experience
