Bailey’s Dream Child Care Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Pre-K Teacher to join our team! If you have a passion for working with young children and helping prepare them for kindergarten, we’d love to meet you.
Our Pre-K program focuses on school readiness through hands-on learning, play-based experiences, structured routines, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Pre-K Teacher with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Help prepare children for kindergarten by supporting early literacy, math, science, social-emotional learning, and fine/gross motor development. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and field trips. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Observe and document children’s progress as needed. Follow all Ohio licensing regulations and center policies. Assist with classroom cleaning and daily sanitation procedures. Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming learning environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with preschool or Pre-K children preferred. CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or willingness to obtain preferred. Must be dependable, patient, organized, and a team player. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Must be able to pass all required Ohio background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
