Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting and warehouse tasks as needed. Pays weekly!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Requirements
- Six months of verifiable experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Work is full time, 5 days a week. Your schedule will depend on what the operations needs in regards to route and days of week.
- Valid driver’s license (non-provisional) with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or box trucks is a plus. Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Pass a extensive background check, motor vehicle check and drug screen/DOT physical.
