Responsibilities
The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to accurately diagnose customer concerns, explain repair procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes
- Computer proficiency (dealer management systems preferred)
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
- Greet customers and determine their service needs.
- Accurately diagnose vehicle problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Prepare accurate repair orders, including detailed descriptions of the issues and the necessary work to be performed.
- Provide customers with accurate estimates of repair costs and time.
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and answering questions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage service appointments and maintain a smooth workflow in the service department.
- Upsell services and products as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
- Strive to achieve and maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Ford/Lincoln vehicle technology and repair procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month
