Job Title: Technician
Job Summary: The Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. This role involves both in-shop and on-site mobile work, requiring flexibility and adaptability to different work environments
Key Responsibilities:
- In-Shop Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks to ensure all work meets company standards.
- Use digital and physical tools to diagnose and fix issues.
- Communicate with customers to intake and deliver jobs, provide estimates, and offer consultation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by completing jobs professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and the shop foreman to develop long-term plans and improve shop operations.
On-Site Mobile Work Duties:
- Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance and repairs on-site.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics using mobile tools and equipment.
- Communicate with customers on-site to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and adheres to company standards.
- Maintain records of all on-site work performed and report back to the shop foreman.
- Provide emergency repair services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ideally, a certification in automotive or equipment repair (ASE certification preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Work in various environments.
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $5,000.00 per month
