Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the engineering team to execute routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative programs across all hotel facilities.
- Manage the operation and troubleshooting of complex systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC units, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Oversee the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track assets, and optimize maintenance workflows.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies aligned with industry standards to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.
- Review schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs effectively.
- Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, safety checks, and equipment performance for audit purposes.
- Ensure all facilities operate at optimal performance levels by supervising HVAC systems, electrical installations (including high voltage), low voltage systems, and industrial machinery.
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing protocols related to electrical work (including high voltage), industrial maintenance practices, and general facilities management.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades while managing project timelines and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven management experience leading engineering or facilities teams within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical experience (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC operations, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with software for maintenance management purposes.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious environment.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities in executing facility upgrades or large-scale maintenance projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors efficiently.
