Job Overview
We are seeking an entry level Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems. This role involves resolving technical issues, managing computer systems, and ensuring optimal operation of various IT services across the organization. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a wide range of operating systems and network configurations.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or remote sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
- Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with software troubleshooting for applications including Microsoft Office and other enterprise tools.
- Support computer management tasks such as Active Directory administration and GPO configuration
- Collaborate with team members to analyze issues, document solutions, and improve support processes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of technical support principles with experience in desktop support and help desk operations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN management
- Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively while providing excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows (various versions), macOS
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Integracon will provide a company phone and company laptop for use. After 90 days the position qualifies for health, vision, and dental health care coverage. Remote employee is responsible for stable home internet when working from home. While most work is remote at times employee will need to go onsite to provide client support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
