Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers in selecting menu items, providing friendly and efficient in-person service
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment sanitization following food safety procedures
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash transactions and handle customer payments securely
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients, handling food safely, and ensuring quality standards are met
- Follow food safety management protocols, including proper sanitizing procedures and safe food handling practices
- Restock supplies regularly, manage weight handling in the workplace, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred; experience in fine dining or catering is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, blenders, or other small appliances safely
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Manual handling skills for lifting supplies or equipment safely
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
- Experience with wine knowledge or culinary experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have worked with any Espresso machine in the past (home or commercial).
