We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Glazier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass and glazing systems on commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Install aluminum storefront, doors, curtain wall systems, and insulated glass units on commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Take precise field measurements and cut glass and framing materials to specification
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and on-site crews to keep jobs on schedule
- Safely handle, transport, and store glass materials to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements & Skills
Experience & Credentials
- Minimum 2–3 years of commercial glazing and or carpentry experience, with a focus on storefront and curtain wall systems
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles
- OSHA 10 certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and glazing-specific equipment
- Working knowledge of aluminum framing systems (Kawneer, YKK, Oldcastle, or similar)
- Familiarity with common door hardware brands and installation procedures
- Ability to take precise measurements and perform accurate field layouts
- Basic understanding of waterproofing principles and sealant application
- Must have basic hand tools

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
- Clear communicator — able to coordinate effectively with crew members and contractors
- Strong problem-solving ability when encountering unforeseen field conditions

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods throughout the workday
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Glazier apprenticeship or vocational trade training a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
