Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional || Candidate must reside at least 70 miles away from Shelby,MT

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights based on facility need)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift Pattern: 3 days per week

Compensation & Pay Package
- Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,102.80/week
- Blended Hourly Rate: $58.41/hr
Breakdown:
- Taxable Hourly Rate: $23.80/hr
- Taxable Overtime Rate: $35.70/hr
- Weekly Taxable Pay: $856.80
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipends: $1,246.00
- Weekly Overtime Pay: $0.00 (as per guarantee structure)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional healthcare environment
- Administer medications and follow provider orders
- Perform patient assessments, sick calls, and emergency evaluations
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care or referrals
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure medical record confidentiality
- Support health education, counseling, and patient monitoring
- Assist with supervision of nursing workflows as needed
- Follow all correctional facility policies and healthcare protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Montana or compact eligible
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or higher)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Ability to work in a secure correctional setting
