Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress during sessions.
- Assist clients in developing daily living skills and social skills.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress.
- Provide support in behavior management techniques to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client needs and progress.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively to track client progress.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors.
- Familiarity with maintaining medical records and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and their families.

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
