Job Overview
Join our manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist, where your expertise will drive precision and efficiency in producing high-quality components. In this role, you will operate and set up Horizontal Machining Centers. We are looking for a motivated individual with 2 YEARS experience setting up CNC mills in a job shop environment. You must be able to set fixtures in a CNC machine and indicate them in. Also touch off tools and manage tooling offsets, and prove out new programs and parts safely. Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and program CNC Horizontal milling machines using Fanuc controls.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD/CAM files to produce precise parts
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and maintenance on CNC equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, measurements, and quality checks
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments involving CNC programming and operation
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T understanding for precise machining
- Experience operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; capable of performing measurements within tight specifications
- Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and maintenance routines to ensure optimal machine performance
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
