Job Overview
Wild Axe Throwing and Level Up Pinball Bar are hiring a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused team member for a unique dual-role position.
This position combines the responsibilities of a Bartender and Axe Master. Team members will switch between bartending and Axe Master duties based on business needs, scheduled events, and daily operations.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, creating memorable guest experiences, and working in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Axe-throwing training will be provided.
Employees receive hourly pay plus tips.
ResponsibilitiesBartending and Customer Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service
- Process customer payments accurately
- Monitor guests and serve alcohol responsibly
- Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Complete opening, closing, and general cleaning duties
- Assist guests throughout Wild Axe Throwing and Level Up Pinball Bar
Axe Master Duties
- Teach guests proper axe-throwing techniques
- Explain and enforce all safety procedures
- Lead games, competitions, parties, and group events
- Keep guests entertained and engaged throughout their reservation
- Monitor axe-throwing lanes and equipment
- Reset and clean lanes between groups
- Create a safe, exciting, and welcoming experience
- Complete small pinball and arcade machine repairs
- Troubleshoot and report larger game or equipment issues
- Restock arcade redemption games and prize areas
- Keep arcade machines and surrounding areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment environment
- Willing to switch between bartending and Axe Master responsibilities
- Comfortable completing basic repairs and using common hand tools
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand and remain active throughout an eight-hour shift
- Willing to complete cleaning, opening, and closing responsibilities
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous bartending, customer-service, mechanical, or repair experience is preferred but not required
- No previous axe-throwing experience is required
Schedule
- Eight-hour shifts
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be available
- Weekend availability is important
- Responsibilities may change throughout the shift based on business needs
