JOB TITLE: Commercial HVAC Technician
DEPARTMENT: Field Services
PAY RANGE: $35.00 - $50.00 Per Hour
REPORTS TO: Owner
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
POSITION S| The Commercial HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring quality of work on HVAC repairs and installation while at the job site. Coordinating personnel and delivering specific instructions to others while maintaining safe work practices. The Commercial HVAC Technician must be competent with tools and machinery and have an extensive knowledge of mechanical components and wiring. The Commercial HVAC Technician must be technologically inclined. Familiar with Service Titan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Installing entire commercial HVAC systems and/or components of systems
- Troubleshooting, diagnose and repairing commercial HVAC systems and/or components of systems
- Performing preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and having the ability to identify potential failure points
- Record detailed service notes in the field service software accurately and consistently
- Interact with commercial clients and communicate findings in a comprehensive and understandable manner
- Interact with contractors and communicate instructions as needed
- Ensure all materials needed for the day are stocked on the company provided vehicle before leaving to the first job
- Communicate non-scheduled work with the office to ensure proper job tracking and billing
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Perform all essential functions with a high standard of quality and in an efficient and timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
TDLR ACR Technician License
EPA universal refrigerant handling certification
Experience / Abilities:
- Must be prompt and punctual
- Must have a valid driver license
- 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Must be able to operate company vehicles, scissor lifts and forklifts as needed
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use handheld devices with software required to perform job functions
- Ability to use office software
TRAVEL AND HOURS
- This position is full-time
- Travel to job sites is required. Company vehicle is provided.
