Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information on features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Support banking-related activities such as loan processing or financial service inquiries when applicable
- Maintain knowledge of retail math, basic math, and financial software to ensure precise calculations and record-keeping
- Handle customer questions or concerns promptly, delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product displays, and merchandising efforts
- Conduct cash register operations efficiently, including 10 key typing and balancing cash drawers at shift end
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to engaging customers
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including cash handling, cash management, and 10 key typing accurately
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed
