Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to pick up, transport, and deliver freight on assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and all traffic laws
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork (ELD, BOLs, trip reports, etc.)
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Secure loads properly (as required) and ensure cargo is protected during transit
- Manage schedules to ensure on-time pickup and delivery while prioritizing safety
- Handle unexpected route changes, delays, or weather conditions responsibly
Requirements (Must Have)
- Age: 25 years old or older
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL (Class A) with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical (as applicable)
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and basic vehicle maintenance checks
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $0.55 - $0.65 per mile
