Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents or clients by delivering attentive, respectful, and personalized care. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in food handling
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Follow safe patient lifting practices using manual handling techniques to prevent injury for both caregivers and residents
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and memory care strategies
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Competence in first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices to respond promptly during emergencies
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community care settings
