Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse/Driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and possess a strong background in warehouse operations and driving. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials.
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, stocking, and utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying orders via order fulfillment systems, and ensuring proper packaging.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks for manufacturing or construction-related projects while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by picking and packing orders efficiently for timely delivery or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues requiring repair or maintenance.
