Starting Pay: $20-22/hr. based on experience.
What You'll Do:
As a Painter at LaForce, you’ll be an essential part of the production process, working with hollow metal frames, doors, and components. Your day-to-day will include:
- Prepping and painting frames and components using airless and pressure-pot spray systems.
- Applying glazing bead to door frames using powered tools.
- Reading and interpreting shop orders and drawings to meet job specs.
- Operating hand and power tools (sanders, grinders, saws, etc.).
- Moving materials safely with forklifts and other equipment.
- Keeping the painting and glazing areas clean and well-stocked.
- Assisting in warehouse operations including loading/unloading and inventory.
What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Some experience with painting, manufacturing, or related trades.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, safety rules, and manuals.
- Forklift certification (training provided).
- A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working with tools and equipment on your feet all day.
