Dietary Aide
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation in Stroudsburg, PA. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including dishware, utensils, and equipment
Assist with food preparation, such as washing and peeling vegetables, and plating meals
Restock supplies and maintain inventory of food and beverages
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activities for residents
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, adhering to regulations and protocols
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic math skills and attention to detail
