Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Shift: Full-Time
Salary: $55–$60 per hour
Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated rehab team. In this role, you will help residents regain and enhance their communication and swallowing abilities while providing supportive, resident-centered care.
Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech and language treatment plans
Implement and adapt therapy programs based on resident progress and needs
Coordinate and provide instruction on adaptive communication devices
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to design effective care plans
Supervise and train supportive staff as needed
Participate in care plan meetings and regularly assess resident progress
ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist
Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility)
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or eligible to obtain
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
