Manufacturing company located in Millville, NJ is seeking skilled Silk Screeners to work in production and operate the screen press. Ideal candidate will need silk screening experience preferably working with sign fabrication. In this role, the screener will be responsible for operating a screen press and working with production daily operations. This opportunity is long term with potential to become permanent.
Schedule: M-F: 7:50AM - 4:30PM
Pay rate: $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, Dependent on Experience
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Measure and set up silk screens
- Use appropriate screen tools to ensure product quality
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- Maintain and repair screen equipment as needed
- Clean ink(s) off the screen(s) and break down after use
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- May be responsible for washing and prepping screens
- Review the design/work order for a job to accurately complete it
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must know how to read a tape measure
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1+ years silk-screening experience preferred, but basic knowledge acceptable
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
