Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system processing cash and card transactions efficiently
- Assist in food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff, including assembling ingredients and maintaining food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities through friendly suggestions and product knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and food prep stations by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety regulations
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately while processing cash handling duties with basic math skills
- Support food handling procedures ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and compliance with health standards
- Assist with food service customer order management to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Uphold a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems; training will be provided if needed
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and operate kitchen equipment safely
