Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu innovative and appealing.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special event days.
